The Town of Bracebridge is looking to sell 3 Ecclestone Dr., known to many as Bird Mill Mews, and is looking for input on its future. The survey is available on EngageBracebridge.ca and will available until Oct. 4. The nearby parkette is not part of the sale. Officials with the town say it cost around $670,000 over the last five years to maintain the property, adding they estimate around $639,000 will be needed to keep the building in good shape over the next decade. The building currently houses the Bracebridge Chamber of Commerce-operated visitor centre and the Riverwalk Restaurant. Officials say it was built in 1918 and was then called the Bird Mill Mews. They explain it was used as a warehouse for the Bird Woollen Mill. They add it's been owned by the town since 1990 and is considered to be in "good condition."
