Loan agreement approved between Belleville, Children’s Safety Village

The partnership between Belleville council and a local non-profit organization continues to grow stronger. Council signed off on entering into an agreement with the Children’s Safety Village at its meeting on Monday that would see it provide a $125,000 loan to CSV. That loan would be used for fundraising efforts and preliminary design work as the Children’s Safety Village prepares for a move to its new location at the former Hillcrest School property, now Clifford Sonny Belch Park.
