Christmas Day crash involves OPP cruiser

A Christmas Day collision involving a Lennox and Addington OPP cruiser with another vehicle fortunately did not result in serious injuries. The crash, which occurred around 6 p.m. last Wednesday, involved an officer who was trying to locate a suspect's vehicle while on a 'priority call' on Bridge Street West in Napanee. Police say both vehicles were travelling slowly at the time, but the officer was still transported to hospital as a precaution and later returned to work. One of the two people in the other vehicle was checked out by Lennon and Addington County Paramedics. An investigation into the crash is continuing....
