Kingston Police say there was no danger to students after a report of a weapon briefly shut down a school in the city on Thursday. Around 12:30 pm on November 14th, members of the Kingston Police promptly responded to a report of an individual with a weapon inside Kingston Secondary School. The school was subsequently placed in lockdown as officers investigated the matter. At approximately 12:50 p.m. officers safely located the individual within the school as well as the object originally believed to be a weapon.
