Human trafficking investigation results in charges against Kingston man

A seven month investigation into a human trafficking case has resulted in an arrest by Kingston Police. The investigation by the Kingston Police Intelligence Unit started last December when hotel staff contacted police about a female who appeared to be a victim of human trafficking. The probe eventually surrounded a Kingston resident who facilitated sexual services in several Ontario cities. The 58-year-old accused is scheduled to appear in court at a later date after his arrest on Tuesday on charges of receiving material benefits from sexual services and advertising another person's sexual services....
