Gun and drug charges laid after stolen vehicle crashes in Deseronto

Two people were arrested after drugs and a loaded gun were seized from a stolen vehicle which crashed over the weekend in Deseronto. Early Sunday morning, just before 1:30 a.m., Lennox and Addington OPP responded to a call about a collision on Thomas Street in Deseronto. It was reported that a vehicle had flipped onto its side after colliding with an unoccupied, parked vehicle, and that two people had fled on foot. Investigation revealed the vehicle was stolen.
