PowerWash Simulator – Shrek Special Pack – Review

Back in July 2024, we reviewed the Alice Adventures Special Pack for Powerwash Simulator, which proved to be a fun collaboration between Powerwash Simulator and Alice in Wonderland. We enjoyed the bright and colorful maps, and restoring them to their original pristine condition was even more fun. Today, we are taking a closer look at another fairytale-like collaboration, namely the Shrek Special Pack. While this one has been out for a while, we feel it’s a relevant review with the new movie coming out soon. Like the Alice Adventures Special Pack, the Shrek Special Pack has five new locations for you to clean. These include iconic locations from the movies, such as Dulac, Hansel’s Honeymoon Hideaway, Shrek’s Swamp, Fairy Godmother’s Potion Factory, and the Dragon’s Lair. Most of these stages are fairly large and will take you some time to clean. We liked the different sceneries, but they felt a bit more basic than the previous DLC. It would have perhaps been nice to have a few more complex stages thrown into the mix or even a few extra levels with a few smaller locations. All in all, it’s a varied DLC that has a lot of charm, but we would have loved a few more locations that were also in the movies or even some of that iconic flair that made Shrek so amazing. Nonetheless, the original new pressure washer that was created for this DLC was a nice touch. We won’t spoil that for you, as it’s fun to see this for yourself. Conclusion Even though we quite enjoyed what the Shrek Special Pack had to offer, we found the content a bit blander than what the Alice Adventures Special Pack had in store for us. Nonetheless, fans of both Shrek and Powerwash Simulator will have a few nice new stages to clean, be it solo or with friends. While we hoped for a few more stages here, you’ll still have a few hours of content to plow through for a reasonably fair price.
