The successful efforts of the Multi-National Joint Tasks Force (MNJTF) have paved the way for the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), to experiencing a resurgence of peace and unity in Kukawa community in Borno State has they joyfully return to their ancestral homes. According to Chief Military Public Information Officer, Lt Colonel Olaniyi Osoba in a press statement on Sunday this long-awited homecoming, marking a significant milestone in the region's journey towards stability and developmentLt Colonel Osoba noted that amidst cheers and celebrations, the Honourable member representing Kukawa Constituency, Honourable Karta Maina, together with local leaders including Chairman Alhaji Abba Fugu and District Head Alhaji Kachalla Mamman, officially flagged off the return of the IDPs to Kukawa town on Sunday, August 4, 2024.
