To enable residents of North West Nigeria, especially Kaduna, Niger, Kano and Jigawa States report emergency cases and lodge complaints with the Nigerian Army, the General Officer Commanding 1 Division and Commander Operation WHIRL PUNCH has introduced a Toll-Free Line/number 08000020204 for reporting security related issues and for quick response.In a statement signed by its Acting Deputy Director Army Public Relations 1 Division, Lt Col Musa Yahaya, it is also to assist the general public to send timely information on the activities of terrorists, insurgents, violent extremists, bandits and their collaborators as well as other issues of security concern.He added that this would assist the Division and other security agencies in protecting lives and properties within the Division's Area of Responsibility. "Given the security challenges in 1 Division Nigerian Army Area of Responsibility that covers Kaduna, Niger, Kano and Jigawa States, the Division has introduced a Toll-Free Line/number 08000020204 for reporting security related issues.
