Bluesky Now Has Over 9 Million Users

Bluesky, one of the services that offers an experience more or less like Twitter, now informs that they have more than 9 million users worldwide under their platform. A recent drastic increase was when the X platform was blocked in Brazil, making many people switch to Bluesky.Bluesky is one of the decentralized social sites that uses the AT protocol, and has started closed testing for it since 2023. It started by requiring an invitation to use it, before gradually expanding and now being open to the public.Through the latest update, Bluesky stated that the majority of new users who register and use their platform are users in Brazil. Around 3 million users from Brazil alone have been added in the near future. With more countries starting to look at content control methods on Twitter, it is not impossible that we will see the number of Bluesky users continue to increase day by day after this.
