The European Union welcomed on Thursday the announcement of the indictment by the Special Prosecutor's Office of Kosovo against the persons involved in the attack a year ago in the village of Banjska in the north of the country, while emphasizing that it expects the cooperation of Serbia in this matter. “The European Union has consistently and repeatedly expressed its expectation that all those responsible and involved in this brutal attack will be held accountable in an orderly process.” said European Union spokesman Peter Stano, underlining that the bloc's position has been clear since the event a year ago and that it expects Serbia to cooperate fully in the investigation of this attack.
