Flowery summer

A Qing dynasty (1644-1911) artist’s painting of European flowers is on display at an exhibition “The Emperors’ Moving Gardens” running until Sept. 22 at the National Palace Museum in Taipei City. Identification of the subjects by academics and experts from National Taiwan University and the Ministry of Agriculture as well as specimen samples enrich the event. (Courtesy of NPM)
