Munjya Movie: OTT Release Date and How to Watch Online

The Bollywood movie "Munjya," directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and produced by Maddock Films, was released in theaters on June 7, 2024.   With its star-studded cast including Sharvari Wagh, Abhay Verma, Mona Singh, and Sathyaraj, the horror-comedy "Munjya" earned ₹23 crore within the first four days of its release. DespitThe Bollywood movie "Munjya," directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and produced by Maddock Films, was released in theaters on June 7, 2024.   "Munjya" is the Marathi term for Upanayana, a sacred thread ceremony performed for Hindu Brahmin boys, usually during adolescence. According to legend, after death, the spirits of these boys haunt peepal trees. The Bollywood movie is based on the belief that these spirits dwell in peepal trees or near wells, making people afraid to go near these places at night.   "Munjya" is scheduled to stream on Disney+ Hotstar around August-September 2024.
