Sulley Muntari’s career took a decisive turn in 2008 when Jose Mourinho personally called him with an irresistible offer.The former Ghanaian international, who was then with Portsmouth, had impressed the Portuguese manager during the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations, setting the stage for a life-changing transfer.Muntari joined Inter in July 2008, and under Mourinho’s guidance, he became an integral part of the Nerazzurri. The rest was history."
