Former Black Stars midfielder Sulley Muntari has delivered a scathing critique of the Ghana Premier League (GPL), describing it as “a mess” and lacking a future. The 40-year-old, who started his professional journey with Liberty Professionals in 2000, returned to the domestic league in the 2021/22 season, joining Hearts of Oak.During his brief stint, Muntari helped the club secure the President's Cup and the MTN FA Cup before opting not to renew his contract.Speaking in an interview with 3Sports, the former AC Milan and Inter Milan star expressed disappointment over the league's state."The league is a big hole where they are dumping money.
