President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Kurt Okraku paid a motivational visit to Ghana Premier League champions FC Samartex during their final training session on Tuesday.The visit was aimed at boosting the team’s morale as they prepare for their debut in the CAF Champions League.FC Samartex are set to make their first appearance in the prestigious continental competition and are eager to make a significant impact. They are preparing for their crucial match against Victoria United of Cameroon in the first preliminary round. The Timber Giants will play the first leg of the qualifiers in Cameroon and will host the return leg at the Accra Sports Stadium.The visit by Okraku underscores the GFA's support for the club as they embark on this historic journey. Samartex’s goal is to advance beyond the first preliminary round and demonstrate their capabilities on the continental stage.Should FC Samartex progress past Victoria United, they will face either ASGNN of Niger or Moroccan side Raja Club Athletic in the second round.
