Kurt Okraku backs Samartex for CAF Champions League glory

Ghana FA President Kurt Okraku has expressed confidence in Samartex's ability to represent Ghana proudly in the CAF Champions League.Ahead of the team's departure for Cameroon to face Victoria United in the preliminary round, Okraku visited the club's training session to offer words of encouragement.He urged Samartex to draw inspiration from the recent successes of Medeama SC and Dreams FC in continental competitions.Medeama reached the group stage in their first CAF Champions League appearance, and Dreams FC made it to the semi-final of the CAF Confederation Cup on their first attempt.The GFA president believes that Samartex possesses the quality to make a significant impact in Africa's premier club competition."Your colleagues have done it just a few months ago.
