Nottingham Forest join race to sign Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah

Nottingham Forest have become the latest Premier League club to show interest in acquiring Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah.The 25-year-old forward, known for his clinical goal-scoring ability, has already attracted attention from Crystal Palace and Bournemouth.Nketiah has also been linked with a move to French club Marseille during the summer transfer window.Initially, Arsenal set a price of €35 million for the forward, but negotiations hit a snag as Marseille failed to meet the valuation, even after Nketiah indicated a willingness to lower his wage demands to facilitate the move.As Marseille began to explore other options, including Youssoufa Moukoko and Elye Wahi, Arsenal reduced their asking price to €30 million, with a loan deal that includes an obligation to buy.Despite this, Marseille’s interest remains around the €25 million mark, potentially opening the door for Bournemouth and now Nottingham Forest to make a move for the striker.As the transfer window progresses, it remains to be seen which club will secure Eddie Nketiah's signature.
