GFA President Kurt Okraku warns betting companies against offering Ghana Premier League odds

Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku has issued a stern warning to betting companies operating in the country.He has stated that no betting company has been authorised to offer odds on Ghana Premier League (GPL) matches.Okraku emphasised that the GFA's legal team will soon be taking action against betting companies that continue to include GPL matches in their offerings.This move is seen as a crucial step in addressing concerns about match-fixing in the league, which came under scrutiny last season due to suspicious match results."We have not licensed any betting company to take odds on our games," Okraku said during the 30th Ordinary Congress in Prampram."We are going to empower our legal department to confront this issue head-on.
