Red-hot Ghanaian defender Baba Abdul Rahman has expressed delight after helping PAOK Thessaloniki take a huge advantage from the first leg of their Europa League qualifiers against Shamrock Rovers.Rahman was on target for the Greek champions as they cruised to a 4-0 victory at the Toumbas Arena on Thursday night, making their trip to Ireland an easy job."We are getting there now," he wrote after the game.PAOK, who had previously secured two wins against Shamrock Rovers, controlled the match from start to finish at Stadio Toumbas.The Greek side took the lead just before halftime, courtesy of an own goal by Daniel Cleary in the 45+5 minute.The second half saw PAOK extend their advantage with Taison scoring in the 48th minute. Shamrock Rovers were further weakened by the dismissal of Joshua Honohan five minutes later. Giannis Konstantelias added a third goal in the 68th minute, with an assist from Taison.Baba Rahman, who played the full 90 minutes, sealed the comprehensive win with a stunning left-footed strike in the 90+4 minute, finding the top corner to make it 4-0. This goal marks Rahman’s second in three games, highlighting his growing influence in the team.
