Greater Accra Region completes Free CAF License D Coaching Course

The Greater Accra Region on Tuesday concluded a free CAF License D coaching course organized by the Ghana Football Association (GFA).Over 40 local coaches participated in the course, which was led by experienced CAF instructors Abukari Damba and Joyce Boatey-Agyei.The closing ceremony was attended by key figures including Samuel Aboabiri, Chairman of the Greater Accra Regional Football Association, and Joe Salam Abubakar, Vice Chairman of the National Juvenile Committee.Joe Salam Abubakar, representing GFA President Kurt Okraku, urged the newly trained coaches to serve as ambassadors for the transformation of Ghanaian football.He emphasised their crucial role in shaping the future of the sport at the grassroots level.The GFA plans to run this course for the next three years, with an estimated 900 coaches to be trained nationwide.This initiative is part of the GFA's broader efforts to improve coaching standards and foster talent development in Ghana.
