Ghana FA President Kurt Okraku proud of revitalised national teams

Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku believes that under his leadership, all national teams in Ghana have regained their competitive edge.Since taking office in 2019, Okraku has focused on revitalising Ghanaian football, which he feels was in decline before his tenure. He highlights several key achievements, including the Black Stars’ qualification for the 2022 World Cup—an event they missed in 2018—and the Black Queens' return to the Women's AFCON after missing the previous two tournaments. In an interview with Asempa FM, Okraku expressed confidence in the progress made: "The Ghanaian game was on the low before 2019. Fast forward to 2020 and now, I think we've made significant strides in reviving all our competitions and reigniting the passion of the people."He also noted the resurgence of youth competitions and teams, stating, "We've reintroduced more youth national teams and competitions. Our domestic leagues are also back on track and timely."Okraku's tenure has seen the Ghanaian football landscape rejuvenated, with a renewed sense of hope and ambition for future success.
