Black Princesses coach Yussif Basigi confident ahead of U-20 Women’s World Cup

Ghana coach Yussif Basigi is feeling optimistic as his team prepares for the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Colombia.The Black Princesses have been training in Colombia, fine-tuning their skills with friendly matches against Mexico (0-0 draw) and South Korea (2-2 draw).Following these matches, Basigi expressed satisfaction with his team's progress."This has been an improved game compared to the first one," he said."Against Mexico, you could tell they were a bit tense, but against South Korea, they played very well. We were able to hold them, except for the penalties, which are part of the game."While acknowledging the concern of conceding two penalties, Basigi views it as a valuable learning experience."Conceding two penalties is a worry, but it gives us a fair idea of what to expect in the main tournament," he noted."We’re ready for the tournament.
