Amadu blames missed chances for Samartex draw against Raja Casablanca

Samartex head coach Nurudeen Amadu has attributed his team's inefficiency in front of goal as the reason they failed to secure a win against Raja Casablanca in their CAF Champions League second-round qualifier. The first leg ended in a 2-2 stalemate at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, despite the Ghanaian champions leading 2-1 at halftime.Raja equalised in the second half, but Samartex missed several key opportunities to finish off the game."I’m not a happy person, but I think we didn’t disgrace ourselves. The equaliser in the second half was a gift to them because we didn’t defend well in that situation," Amadu said."We were wasteful in front of goal, and that cost us."Amadu remains optimistic about the second leg, vowing to fight for a win away in Morocco."I will strategize for the away game. We will aim to be resilient and fight them there," he added.Samartex are determined to make it to the group stage, following in the footsteps of Medeama last season.
