Nsoatreman FC eye Baba Yara Stadium for CAF Confederation Cup campaign

New Nsoatreman FC coach, Yaw Preko, has hinted that the team's upcoming CAF Confederation Cup matches could be played at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi. This news comes as Nsoatreman prepares to face Chadian club Elect Sport FC in the preliminary round of the competition.Preko, a coach with experience in African football, believes the Baba Yara Stadium's facilities would be ideal for these continental matches. While the final decision on the venue hasn't been confirmed, Preko's comments suggest the club is leaning towards Kumasi."I think that from what I heard from the General Manager [ Eric Alagidede] we will play in Kumasi," he said on Peace FM.Nsoatreman, set to begin their maiden CAF Confederation Cup campaign next season, will look to leverage Preko's experience to navigate the challenges that lie ahead.Preko was announced as head coach earlier this week, replacing Maxwell Konadu who left Nsoatreman to join Black Leopards in South Africa after guiding them to win the MTN FA Cup.
