Samartex new shot stopper Japheth Norvienyo sets ambitious goals for team

Samartex new goalkeeper Japheth Norvienyo has expressed his determination to help the club push forward following his transfer from Nations FC. The 20-year-old shot-stopper has signed a three-year contract with the Ghana Premier League champions, keeping him at the club until 2027.Norvienyo joins Samartex with high expectations, aiming to strengthen the team's goalkeeping department and contribute significantly in the upcoming season. His recent performances with Nations FC, where he made 14 appearances last season, have already earned him a reputation as a promising talent.“I am here to work, compete, and give everything to push the team forward,” Norvienyo stated upon his arrival.Samartex are currently in the Eastern Region preparing for the new season and will participate in three major competitions: the FA Cup, Ghana Premier League, and CAF Champions League. The addition of Norvienyo is seen as a strategic move to bolster their squad as they embark on their maiden campaign in the CAF Champions League.The Timber Giants are keen to showcase a strong performance in their first-ever continental competition and continue to be active in the transfer window to strengthen their squad.
