Samartex FC have bolstered their squad with the signing of Isaac Baffoe from relegated Bofoakwa Tano. The young forward has penned a three-year deal with the reigning Ghana Premier League champions.Despite joining from a lower-tier side, Baffoe impressed the Samartex technical team with his performances. The 20-year-old made 20 appearances for Bofoakwa Tano last season, scoring once.Speaking after completing his move, Baffoe expressed optimism about Samartex's chances of another successful campaign."I will not promise that we are going to defend the league title but one thing is obvious, we will have another good season," he said.He added, "It's not by accident that FC Samartex won last season's league. In my few days with the team, I have been impressed with the treatment and everything that they have put down for players."Baffoe's arrival strengthens Samartex’s attacking options as they prepare to defend their league title and compete in the CAF Champions League.
