Controversial Ghanaian lawyer Maurice Ampaw has shed light on his prolonged legal disputes with football star Asamoah Gyan.Ampaw's clashes with the former Ghana captain, particularly over the alleged rape of Sarah Kwablah, have garnered significant attention.In 2015, Sarah Kwablah, a former University of Ghana student, accused Asamoah Gyan of rape and sodomy.Ampaw also served as lead counsel for Ghanaian journalist Osarfo Anthony in a related malicious prosecution lawsuit.These legal battles spanned six years before finally being resolved in court.Addressing his consistent involvement in issues related to Gyan, Ampaw clarified that he harbours no personal grievances against the former Black Stars player.Instead, he revealed that Gyan's dismissal of him as a "social media lawyer" motivated him to prove his credentials."I don’t have any personal issue with Asamoah Gyan," Ampaw stated."I just want to prove him wrong because he dared me.
