Quinte West Council received reports on how much money members of the horseshoe and city employees made last year at its meeting on Wednesday. Mayor Jim Harrison brought in more than $83,500 in remuneration in 2024, including fees for conferences and meetings and $3,300-plus for sitting on the Quinte West Police Services Board. The 12 municipal councillors made between around $29,800 and $37,781, which includes salaries and committee service. 11 members of the public also received pay for sitting on city committees. Coun.
