The Trenton Golden Hawks long winning streak couldn’t last forever, as they met their match in the Haliburton County Huskies on Tuesday night. The visitors became the first team to beat Trenton twice this season, winning 4-2 at the Duncan McDonald Community Gardens to snap the hosts’ 12-game unbeaten run. The Huskies jumped out in front 2-1 after one period on the strength of a powerplay goal from Isaac Larmand and an even strength marker from Deandres DeJesus, working around a Devin Mauro tally.
