Cobourg company recommended for Trenton housing build tender

The tender contract for a housing services building in Quinte West is going to being awarded to a Cobourg company if Hastings County Council approves. The County’s Community and Human Services Committee is recommending council provide the contract to Dalren Limited at a price of $12.7 million + HST. Dalren Limited’s bid was the lowest of seven submitted to the County. Director of Facilities and Capital Infrastructure Matt Carey stated in a report to the committee the company met all the requirements of the tender after a reference check was completed during the review process.
