Carr’s motion encourages regional support for new HART Hub

A Belleville councillor is seeking Quinte-wide financial support for its planned Homelessness Addictions Recovery Treatment Hub. Coun. Paul Carr brought forward a motion to request member municipalities of Hastings County and Prince Edward County contribute to a capital campaign for the integrated facility on 1 Alhambra Square. As part of a province-wide announcement on Monday, the Belleville HART Hub received operational funding of $6.3 million per year over a three-year period.
