Federal government invests in Belleville retirement home expansion

A retirement residence in Belleville has expanded thanks to major investment. The federal government and Quinte Senior Citizens Homes announced on Tuesday they invested over $25 million in Parkside Village located at 193 North Park Street.  The investment helped with the addition of 54 accessible homes for seniors bringing Parkside Village's total to 84 homes. "After a lifetime of service to our country, our seniors deserve nothing less than a comfortable retirement in their communities," said Minister of Housing, Infrastructure and Communities Sean Fraser.  "I am proud that we could support these new homes, and we will keep supporting projects like this from...
