PEC council aiming to forge ‘Friendship City’ relationship with Ukraine town

With Ukraine still in the thick of war, Prince Edward County is stepping up to try and forge a relationship with one of the country’s municipalities. County Council approved Mayor Steve Ferguson and Coun. Bill Roberts as council appointments to a Krasyliv Friendship Working Group, which will support the municipality in establishing, managing, evaluating and retiring a Friendship City relationship with Krasyliv Urban Territorial Community, Ukraine. Ferguson and Roberts will be joined by two Picton Rotary Club Sponsoring Organization appointees Don Leslie and Paul Epp and two County residents ‘with interest in cultural exchanges’ to the Krasyliv Urban Territorial Community in Ukraine...
