Speed limit lowered on two roads in Quinte West

Quinte West is lowering the speed limit on two local roads as construction work is done in the area. Beginning Friday, June 21 until construction is complete, estimated fall of 2024, the speed limit will be reduced from 80 km/h to 60 km/h on the following roadways: Foxboro-Stirling Road from Oak Lake Road to Marsh Hill Road Wallbridge-Loyalist Road from Chatteron Valley Crescent to Frankford Road This speed limit reduction will be in effect for worker and motorist safety while roadway improvements are underway.
