Pedestrian dies in Kingston collision

A female pedestrian died after she was struck by a vehicle in Kingston on Wednesday. Shortly before 2:00 p.m. on June 19, the pedestrian was crossing the multi-lane roadway south on Princess St near McMichael St and Hillendale Ave when she was struck by a white Cadillac sedan travelling east. Witnesses called 911 while performing emergency medical care on a 75-year-old woman, taken over by a uniform patrol officer prior to paramedics arriving on scene.
