BPS seeking motorist that assisted after west end collision Wednesday

Belleville Police are looking to speak to someone who assisted at the scene of a crash in the city on Wednesday. Officers were called to the collision involving a cyclist and vehicle off of Avonlough Road around 1:00 p.m. The cyclist was taken by an ambulance to hospital, but not before the driver of a white SUV stopped at the scene and helped the cyclist. Sargeant. Brad Stitt of the Belleville Police Service Traffic Safety Unit is looking to speak with this motorist -- he can be reached at bstitt@bellevilleps.ca.
