No foul play in death of man pulled from Moira River in Belleville: police

Belleville police say foul play was not a factor in the death of a man whose body was pulled from the Moira River on Thursday afternoon. Staff Sgt. Jeff Geen says police, Belleville Fire and Hastings-Quinte Paramedics responded to a call at 12:17 p.m. regarding a deceased male in the river near the 300 block on Front Street. Members of the Belleville Police Services Forensic Identification Section, the Criminal Investigation Division and Coroner attended. Geen added there is no threat to public safety and police are continuing to complete next of kin notifications....
