Beyond the Headlines - Quinte Skyway Bridge and County Road 49

A link that physically bridges two communities together is finally complete. After years of consultation, planning, design and construction it was great to see the ribbon cut on the new $63M Quinte Skyway Bridge that connects Prince Edward County, Deseronto and Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory. Construction began in 2018 and while it may have seemed to take forever to some, the County wanted it that way to create minimal impacts to residents and visitors alike as opposed to shutting it down to complete the work in a shorter time frame. I congratulate everyone involved for coming together and getting this much-needed...
