Highway 49 collision leads to impaired driving charges

A collision on Highway 49 has led to impaired driving charges. On September 5, 2024, at approximately 9:00 p.m., members of the Prince Edward County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single vehicle collision on Highway 49 in Prince Edward County. As a result of the investigation, the driver was arrested and transported to detachment for further testing. The driver did not sustain any injury.
