Large OPP presence west of Odessa

Lennox and Addington OPP are asking people to keep their eyes open following a large search effort just west of Odessa on Tuesday. A large OPP presence was spotted in the Sharpe Road/Creekside Drive area on Tuesday morning after a male abandoned a suspected stolen vehicle there (in the early morning hours) after officers attempted to stop the car. The male fled on foot. There was believed to be no threat to public safety, but local residents were being advised to lock their doors as a precaution.
