Pirates edge Huskies with late goal

The Picton Pirates needed some late-game magic to go into the holidays in a jolly mood. Gerrit Kempers tallied with 41 seconds left in regulation time to help the Picton Pirates overcome the Frankford Huskies 4-3. Picton had three leads wiped out by Huskies markers before Kempers' heroics. Owen Findlay, Zack Brooks and Aiden Treverton all cashed in as well for Picton, and Kempers, Treverton and Luc Amat all registered multi-point games. Ryan Turney, Jakob Gardner and Joey Coates (team-leading 25th of the season) all scored in the third for Frankford. Nolan Lane made 43 saves as the Huskies outshot...
