Belleville Council recognizes ‘Mayors of the Week’

The potential future of local politics was recognized on Monday at Belleville Council’s meeting. Five local high school students were recognized for their participation in the ‘Mayors of the Week Program’ in a presentation by Mayor Neil Ellis from November 25 to 29. The program is offered in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Belleville and provides students from the City’s secondary schools the opportunity to meet with Senior Managers of the City and tour the various departmental operations.
