Napanee teen charged in threatening incident

An 18-year old male from Greater Napanee faces numerous charges after a threatening incident over the weekend. Lennox and Addington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were approached by two female youths on Saturday, November 9, 2024, shortly after 10:00 p.m., reporting that they had been threatened at knifepoint at a local quarry. Officers conducted an investigation and learned that the two youths fled the quarry but were followed to a secondary location where they were again reportedly threatened at knifepoint and not allowed to leave.
