Bay of Quinte organizations share $60,400 in provincial grants

The province of Ontario is supporting four local organizations to help keep seniors fit, healthy, active, and socially connected in their communities. Bay of Quinte MPP Todd Smith announced $60,400 in funding through the Seniors Community Grants at the Consecon Library on Thursday morning. “The Quinte area has long had a higher percentage of seniors than the provincial average and that continues to be a growing demographic," Smith said.  "Through the Seniors Community Grant, our government is pleased to partner with local organizations offering programming to support their well being and social inclusion."
