Home lost in fire early Tuesday morning in Stirling

A home was lost but there were no injuries in a huge fire early Tuesday morning in Stirling-Rawdon. Crews were called out at 1:07 am for a garage fire which was actually a house fire which started in the garage area of a home on Barley Trail. There was one resident inside but they made it out safely with no injuries. OPP attended the scene and notified other residences of the fire and Hastings Quinte Paramedics also attended to make sure the resident was ok. Total damages are estimated at $400,000. The fire is not suspicious. The cause if undetermined, possibly electrical....
