Quinte athletes having great success at various levels

The Belleville Beast Swim Team brought home a huge medal haul from this past weekend, with many coming from Francis Brennan. The 16-year-old followed his two gold medals from Day 1 of the Summer Ontario Swimming Championships with four more golds in the100 and 200-metre freestyle events, as well as Individual Medley, and 200-metre backstroke. He also added a silver in the 100-metre butterfly. 15-year-old Hallie Lupton grabbed a bronze medal in the 400-metre medley.
