Finland has approved further military assistance worth €159 million for Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of Finland’s Defence Ministry. This is the 24th package Finland has provided to help Ukraine resist Russian aggression. "Finland is committed to supporting Ukraine in its fight against Russia's unjustified attack. This is not only about Ukraine, but ultimately about the right of all free people to exist. Finns have learned from our own history how important this issue is," Defence Minister Antti Häkkänen stressed. The details of the content of the package as well as the delivery timelines have not been revealed due to security issues. "I am grateful to Finland and President Stubb for the decision to provide Ukraine with the 24th military aid package totaling €159 million, as well as to join the IT and armored vehicle coalitions. We highly value Finland's powerful and long-term military assistance to Ukraine, which has now totaled €2.2 billion. Finland understands better than many other countries the importance of such support during times of struggle for freedom and independence," President Zelenskyy thanked the Finnish government.
