Belleville Police called to control man ‘in crisis’ Friday

A man 'in crisis' spent Friday night at Belleville General Hospital after police were called to a Church Street shelter. Belleville Police were contacted by shelter staff around 8:00 p.m. after a man started acting out of control, threatening staff. Officers took the man to BGH and handed the individual over to hospital security, but were called back when the male acted out to control again. Police stayed at the hospital until they were able to control the male. The man was held at the hospital and was released once he was 'out of crisis'....
