Police arrest a suspect in the stabbing of two people in central London

LONDON – A suspect has been arrested in connection with the stabbing of an 11-year-old girl and a 34-year-old woman in central London, police said Monday. The attack took place in Leicester Square, an area frequented by tourists due to its shops, theaters and cinemas. The square and the surrounding area are visited every week by 2.5 million visitors. The police announced that the two victims were sent to a medical center. There is still no information on their injuries.
